What is affiliation and accreditation?
An affiliated association or affiliated academy is an educational institution that operates independently, but also has a formal collaborative agreement with another, usually larger institution that may have some level of control or influence over its academic policies, standards or programs. Accreditation is necessary to any person or institution in education that needs to prove that they meet a general standard of quality. If you earn a teaching certificate, then you have an accreditation to teach. Accreditation Focused on materials, quality instruction, institutional structure, validity and reliability of the program, its competency-based assessments, and its ability to differentiate individuals who are qualified to practice in a given profession. Earning a degree from an accredited program provides verification that you learned something from a quality institution and verification that you have met the criteria to work as a professional.
